On Friday 12th July at the UK Digital Experience Awards, we were delighted to win Gold in the Best Digital Change & Transformation category and Silver in the Best Online User Experience B2B/B2C category!
This is a great achievement for Ashtown Packaging and a welcome recognition of the efforts and improvements we’ve made in Digital Experience over the past year.
In recent years we have transformed our way of thinking, none more so than in our thinking around digital technology and the benefits it could deliver for ourselves and for our customers. Through taking on this new approach we have implemented numerous technologies throughout the business to improve how we operate and improve the service we offer our customers. Our new Ashtown Packaging website is just one example of the digital change we have seen in the last few years with online ordering, online customer accounts, livechat and instant prices when logged in the new norm.
Over 350 people gathered for the awards at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London, competing for a coveted series of prizes and share the very best ideas from the world of technology. Everyone in attendance enjoyed a memorable Awards ceremony, gaining a greater appreciation for how organisations can create simpler, more meaningful digital experiences for their customers.
In the morning, the Ashtown Packaging team impressed judges with our presentation, condensing a complex range of working practices into a 15-minute pitch for the judging panel.
Once the presentation was over, we had the chance to network with a diverse range of business leaders from all sectors of the economy on digital experience before attending the Awards ceremony in the afternoon.
It was a special moment for us to walk away with two fantastic awards, and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our victory with all the other finalists in attendance.
